For medical procedures, it is up to your provider but we recommend cutting it off and setting aside for a re-weld, or some medical professionals consider taping the jewelry as a safe option.

Simply put it in a ziplock baggie and call or text me. We can re-weld your chain. 

Yes! Our Gold Filled and Sterling Silver jewelry is designed for everyday wear, including showering and swimming. We recommend avoiding prolonged exposure to chlorine to help extend its lifespan.

Based on the description the jewelry has simply oxidized. This is completely normal with genuine sterling silver and doesn’t mean there is anything wrong with the chain or that it is damaged. 

At home you can mix a little baking soda with a few drops of water to make a paste, rub into a chain with a soft cloth or toothbrush.

Oxidation can happen for many reasons: sulfur from well water, hot springs chlorine, certain skin care products, lotions, perfumes, even medications and body chemistry.

Each chain style has different surface areas and finishes. My chains are all 14k gold and 925 sterling silver and sourced from quality US distributors.

It does not mean there is something wrong with the jewelry.
